As an option the standard 40hp engine may be upgraded to a 54hp Volvo Penta D2-55 sail drive for those that require more power.
A hot water installation is standard with both engines and a folding propeller is a additional cost optional extra.
On both engines oil dipstick, oil filter, fuel filter and water pump are located towards the front of the engine making all engine checks quick and simple. Both engines are fitted with a 115 Amp alternator as standard.
Accommodation on all 3 interior versions of the Delphia 40.3 is very good. Obviously the charter version has slightly less living space than the two owners version but only in the forward cabins. The charter version features a double cabin in the fore peak with a twin bunks then to port and a heads to starboard. On the owners version this whole are is part of the master cabin with a larger en-suite heads compartment to port and seating & storage to starboard. On the 3-cabin version the two aft double cabins are identical in size and offer 2.1m of bunk length. The aft cabins on the 2 and 4 cabin versions of the Delphai 40.3 are indentical in size. Ventilation and daylight in both rear cabins is provided by a porthole leading to the cockpit and by a hatch in the ceiling.
The Delphia 40.3 is supplied as standard with a deck stepped C-section Seldén mast featuring two sets of spreaders. An other option for the Delphia 40.3 is a Seldén Furling Mast and is available for quite a low cost when compared to a fully battened mainsail with a stack pack & lazy jacks. The furling mainsail features vertical battens that allow for positive roach. This is a fine combination for performance and convenience and is ideal for those sailing short handed.
A furling Genoa of 41.60m2 is standard on the on the Delphia 40.3 and it features anti-UV protection as standard. A 121.00m2 Spinnaker kit is also available.
We have decided to price all our boats at the ex. factory price. This means that delivery & commissioning must be factored on top of the vessel price above and then the relevant VAT rate must be applied on top of the sum of these prices. GT Marine is registered for VAT in both the UK and Ireland to facilitate sales in to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland citizens.
For some of the larger vessels the possibility exists to have the boats delivered and commissioned/rigged in Gdansk so the customer can sail the boat home to Ireland or hire a delivery skipper etc.
Please call to discuss delivery & commissioning pricing.
Note: Indicated location is approximate general area only.
