The engine offered as standard with the Delphia 47 is the brand new 55hp Volvo Penta D2-55 sail-drive (photo features shaft drive version of same engine) and with a 260 litre fuel tank your cruising grounds can be far and wide.
As an option the standard 55hp engine may be upgraded to a 75hp Volvo Penta D2-75 sail drive for those that require more power.
Hot water heating is standard with both engines. An optional 3-blade folding propeller is available to order
On both engines oil dipstick, oil filter, fuel filter and water pump are located towards the front of the engine making all engine checks quick and simple. Both engines are fitted with a 115A alternator as standard.
The Delphia 47 is currently available in two different cabin layouts with more layouts to be offered in the near future.
The 3-cabin "owners" version of the Delphia 47 features 2 x semi en-suite double cabins in the stern and a very large en-suite double cabin in the bow. Each cabin has its own seating accommodation and locker space. The forward and starboard cabins also feature separate shower spaces in the heads.
The 5-cabin "charter" version of the Delphia 47 again features 2 x semi en-suite double cabins in the stern and in the bow features 2 x twin cabins and a further double (or twin) cabin. The 5-cabin Delphia 47 feature 4 separate heads compartments all featuring showers and holding tanks. In a charter or sail training boat this can be quite an advantage. The saloon table can also be easily converted to a bed when required to provide a further 2 berths.
The Delphia 47 is supplied as standard with a keel stepped C-section Seldén mast featuring triple spreaders. The standard half battened mainsail has an area of 56.25m2 and a fully battened mainsail with Seldén MDS cars is an option. The MDS cars make sail handling a dream preventing jamming when raising or lowering the mainsail. Lazy jacks and a stack pack are also available for either mainsail type.
An other option for the Delphia 47 is a Seldén Furling Mast and is available for an additional cost. The furling mainsail features vertical battens that allow for positive roach. This is a fine combination for performance and convenience and is ideal for those sailing short handed.
A furling self tacking jib of of XXm2 is standard on the on the Delphia 47. A furling Genoa of 38m2 is an upgrade option but also necessitates additional winches and Genoa cars. An optional spinnaker kit and sail will be available in the near future.
We have decided to price all our boats at the ex. factory price. This means that delivery & commissioning must be factored on top of the vessel price above and then the relevant VAT rate must be applied on top of the sum of these prices. GT Marine is registered for VAT in both the UK and Ireland to facilitate sales in to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland citizens.
For some of the larger vessels the possibility exists to have the boats delivered and commissioned/rigged in Gdansk so the customer can sail the boat home to Ireland or hire a delivery skipper etc.
Please call to discuss delivery & commissioning pricing.
Note: Indicated location is approximate general area only.
