Boatshed Ireland are very pleased to offer this wonderful Stevens 1340 DL river and canal cruiser crafted in 1999 by the famous Smelne Shipyard. A quite unusual layout for this 44 footer in that she is very much dedicated to the owner's comfort. She had an internal re-fit by Stevens in 2007 so she looks almost as new. A stunning aft cabin holds the master suite with island double bed, en-suite heads and separate shower room. The saloon is a very comfortable 'lounge' at deck level with deep panoramic windows. The galley is almost wraparound and with a great heating system throughout, the entire boat is cosy, bright and would make a fabulous live-aboard ... but she has a big surprise. Her Twin 190hp diesels will effortlessly cruise at 9 knots but she is capable of actually making 12 knots in open water. With smart design like bilge keels protecting the props from an unwelcome grounding, a fun zodiac 350 Projet for a tender, combine that with super wide side decks for easy moving around and a beautifully spacious aft deck for entertaining, you are probably getting the picture by now. The current owner has enjoyed cruising the rivers and lakes of Ireland for the last decade, and he is meticulous in his maintenance.
