Eastwood 24ft motor cruiser, circa 1975, Waterways Irl Reg 3371.
Engine-BMC 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel. Length 24ft, beam 8'6", draft 2'.
White exterior with a newly designed and fitted canopy over the wheel house. Stained pine and mahogany interior with new curtains and carpet. Two v-berths in the forward cabin area. Extra storage beneath these berths. Toilet compartment and kitchen area containing a B600 two burner/grill/oven gas-cooker, stainless steal sink and ample storage including a wine rack. Dinning area consists of a pedestal mounted folding table which converts into use as a berth.
In the wheel house the wood surround has been recently sanded and varnished to a high standard. Instrument panel with operating temp gauge and rev counter and a Humminbird 100SX depth-sounder. Controls for wiper, navigation lights and the bilge pump are also fitted here. A manual bilge pump is also contained in the wheel house as a secondary back up. Cave lockers are also fitted on either side of the cockpit. Stainless steal ladder attached at aft.
A Danforth anchor made to 6mm chain is stowed below deck and accessed through a deck-hawse.

The boat has been recently anti-fouled below the water line & recoated internally. The boats hull is in original gel coat.
The power is provided by the latest model Yamaha 15hp that has barely been run in & is as new. It is in superb condition throughout. There is a fuel tank and line provided.
The outfit rides on an as new roller trailer that has hardly been used. Also included is a road trailer lighting board along with boat tie downs.
The outfit is in excellent condition throughout & ready for the water.

Orkney Fastliner 16' with a folding cuddy in white. This boat could be fitted with a hard top cuddy if prefered at a small extra cost. The advantage of the folding cuddy is you have all round vision when on the move along with more casting room when its down. If the weather turns bad it can be erected in seconds for more shelter & comfort.
This boat is powered by a just fully serviced Mercury 25hp outboard engine that comes with a fuel tank & line. The external hull has just been freshly anti-fouled below the waterline, also the internal parts of the hull have just been recoated in dark grey so the boat is very clean and tidy.
This boat is fitted with an eagle Fishfinder that has been pre-wired, 12 volt battery, along with an automatic bilge pump.
The outfit rides on a good galvanised roller trailer with a locking hitch. New wheel bearings have recently been fitted. This is a nice clean outfit all ready to go.
This boat would be ideal for pike fishing on big waters.
The Fastliners are superior to the Orkney Longliner. They have the same stability with an improved internal layout. They are wider across the stern and designed take a larger outboard engine (20-25hp) rather than the Longliner (15hp max). They are also semi-displacement so will reach speeds of 18-20 mph as against the Longliners 8-10 mph.
Easily towed by the family car without any trouble. They can easily be launched & retrieved when on your own. Super safe fishing and family boating with the build quality of Orkney boats that last forever. |
